Learning
Kahoot! A great tool to create interactive reviews, quizes, and learning games. Students need their own device and internet connection. The program promotes discussion which develops deeper understanding.
Kids Health This site has a wealth of information on many health topics. Students will find a variety of articles, videos, and games that reinforce health concepts explored in the classroom.
GoNoodle This tool is great for brain breaks, meditation, or aerobic conditioning. It is simple, free, and highly motivational to get kids moving. The program uses a natural way to get students engaged.
Khan Academy Students use this site to learn a variety of concepts for many subjects through practice. Right now my Response to Intervention (RTI) students are competeing in LearnStorm to excersise their brains and grow mathematically.
Teaching
Smithsonian A great instrument for student to explore many science and technology concepts using a vareity of multimedia. The students engage in hands-on/mind-on activities.
Class Tools This website provides many free tools to assist in classroom management, instruction, and project-based learning. Older students are using citation generator when creating their research writings.
Library of Congress You will find a wealth of information from the nation's largest library collection including books, recordings, maps, manuscripts, and photographs. My favorite feature to share with my students is the everyday mysteries which ignites inquiry.
Teacher Tube This site provides a safe place to explore, create, and share educational videos. Students and parents love this site too!

International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) This tool helps me learn the newest cutting edge technologies that transform my teaching with innovative ideas. The site provides a variety of tools to enhance the community of practice using technologies in education. You can find professional development to engage in as a lifelong learner.
National Science Teacher Asscosation (NSTA) This site provides many opportunities to develop your science content knowledge in the learning center. You can find many resources to share with teachers and administrators.
Connected Science Learning /NSTA and the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) This first issue of Connected Science Learning, an online journal for STEM educators provides current resources. The journal showcases highly effective programs, practices, collaborations, and research taking place between the formal and informal science learning communities.
National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) I use this website to explore current researched-based best practices for mathematic instruction. This link has many classroom resources and teacher development possibilities.
